Rather than reading it, the author placed the book on a shelf and forgot about it. The woman gave Tamera ‘Love Comes Softly’ by Janette Oke. She blames her mother-in-law for compelling her to give fiction a shot. Publishing was still a distant dream for Tamera. By that point, the author had a second child. Later on, they migrated to Greeley in Colorado. ![]() She joined her husband in Abilene, Texas, when an employment opportunity came his way. ![]() She also worked with major clients, including Turner Broadcasting Systems.īut the birth of her first child changed things. The author joined Data Communications Corporation (Memphis, Tennessee) and quickly rose through the ranks.
